View Full Version : In an ADD utopia....
Foot-in-mouth 07-03-06, 02:53 PM In a fantasy land where all us ADDers could live happily ever after:<o></o><o></o>
<o>
</o>
No one would get their feelings hurt or annoyed over miscommunication.
Our drinking water would be fortified and stims and anti-depressants<o></o>
Our bosses would also have ADD<o></o>
Others?<o></o>
Nobody would feel like an outsider.
Everyone would understand eachother.
It would be like one huge support group, everyone helping everyone.
Thats all I can think of for the moment :)
EYEFORGOT 07-03-06, 07:10 PM - no neon blinking signs allowed, especially where people drive.
-Everyone understands you
-No deadlines
-No homework (I'd love that one)
-Everyone would be just okay with it if you accidentally watched a beetle for 5 hours and forgot to write your term paper or such
-Everyone would be hyperactive
* Everybody would have a magic wand ,and when they wave it, lost keys and other important stuff will show up
* People would have a self cleaning house
* The houses would be sound proof
* Everybody gets to run around and do kiddie stuff and nobody thinks you're weird because of it
chloe516 07-03-06, 11:11 PM Everyone would acknowledge it as a true disorder and not say it doesn't exist or is overdiagnosed.
Foot-in-mouth 07-03-06, 11:34 PM I wish some mod would edit those smileys out of my 1st post....
Everybody gets to run around and do kiddie stuff and nobody thinks you're weird because of itOoh, I like this one ^.^ I can go back to chuckie cheese's without being laughed at at my age!
chloe516 07-05-06, 12:26 PM Ooh, I like this one ^.^ I can go back to chuckie cheese's without being laughed at at my age!
That's why you nanny or babysit until you have kids! ;) Perfect excuse to do all that kiddie stuff!!
EYEFORGOT 07-09-06, 05:53 AM All the kids like the adults just fine because they're just as ADD as we are so don't think we're "weird".
Chele77 07-14-06, 06:32 PM Everyone can eat anything they want......and still have a 'movie star' body
Everyone is beautiful
Being creative is the highest form of intelligence
Dancing on the subway is completely normal
We don't need to act like someone we aren't to keep our jobs
:D
ClearConfusion 07-16-06, 08:28 PM "Did you start a new project now again? Why?" is never heard.
Job applications are expected to be written in a rushed, sloppy style.
Dishes get magically clean.
pembroke 07-16-06, 11:08 PM I wish some mod would edit those smileys out of my 1st post....your wish is my command ;)
I think they have this its called Landmark College in VT! Check it out
There would be no 'animated promos', that pop up every minute, within a TV show, when you're trying to watch it.
Nova (who can't stand those things)
pembroke 11-09-06, 11:17 AM playing around on the internet for hours and hours would not be considered a "waste of time".
Grade A 11-09-06, 01:30 PM everyone would say what is on their mind and it would be accepted
Desert Dweller 11-09-06, 02:21 PM Cabinets doors and drawers would self-close
pembroke 11-09-06, 05:31 PM Impulsivley would be a perfectly acceptable way of shopping.
~Ødd~Scr~θθball 01-12-07, 01:24 PM In our creative zone out-moments we would come up with a way to become rich without any more effort than-imagining it into reality. :D :D :D
[SIZE=5]
Desert Dweller 01-25-07, 01:14 AM akward silence during coversations would be normal making them not awkard
* Remembering names when meeting new people wouldn't be important.
* Your salary would be based on how many windows you had open at a time (on your computer) :)
* Any dirty clothes, towells, etc. thrown on the ground would automatically go into the washing machine.
* There would be a Page-Find button for EVERYTHING.
EDIT: A new one: * This forum would have warned me before posting two things that were already posted ;)
