Does anyone know if a nurse practitioner can prescribe adderall and ritalin or only a medical doctor?

I think it differs from state to state but in MA they can.

I believe they can make a recommendation and use a stamp to sign a DRs RX in some places as well. The MD has to handwrite the RX however.
