Having ADD and moving 4x in the last 2 years has given me the opportunity to misplace several of my installation CD's. Somewhere, a wonderful tech person told me you can download drivers and other needed software directly from the manufacturer's (?) website. Yeah!!! Go Geeks Go!

I have downloaded drivers for my printers, jump drive, wireless router, and so on.

The disks are not lost, just pack in a box somewhere. They will go in my technology storage area when I find them.

:o I organize for survival, not for pleasure. If I can find it fairly easily, life is better and I can do the things I want to do.:o I hope I don't sound to retentive. All I want to do is enjoy life, not eternal organizing.

Also good because you get the most recent drivers, not what was current when your hardware was packaged :)
