Has anyone else experience muscle soreness the first day or two of taking Ritilan? I have been on and off Ritilan 1984 and don't remember ever getting muscle soreness, however -- Yesterday I consumed a large quantity of coffee (not unusual for me) and then got a script for 10 mg generic Ritalin and another 5mg. I quit drinking coffee at about 1:30pm and took my first 5mg pill at about 3:30, proceeded to clean my house and then went to practice guitar.

I am wondering if the caffeine and Ritalin combined were enough to make me overly tense (not that I felt all the tense), but I have sore muscles between my shoulder blades today and I didn't really do any activites that would have made me sore, other than to carry my amplifier into our practice space (which I have a number of times before without effect).

I am guess my soreness will dissapear in a few days I will be okay, just wanted to know anyone else has experienced soreness within the first few days of taking Ritalin.

during the first few months on ritalin, i noticed a slight tightness in my abdominal muscles. it wasn't enough to cause soreness, but i was very aware that they felt contracted. that feeling went away gradually within a few months. i hardly ever drink coffee, so i don't think my situation had anything to do with caffeine.
