What is the difference? The doctor that diagnosed Trevor with ADHD is a Neurologist specializing in sleep disorders and ADHD. He put Trevor thru a lot of tests and such before talking to us about medication. Now SSI (the PA psych) says that Trevor does not have ADHD so we were turned down. How can this be?

SSI is based on a state determined scale of financial need.

I am going through this as well with my little girl.They have not told me at SSI yet that she does not have ADHD but I would love to see them try.I wish she didnt as she has such strggules with it herself but she does.Do you have a attorney?If not get one.I have one that is helping me out and i have very low income at this time so they are not charging me,thank god.

Is they PA Psych an MD? How did the PA Psych rule out ADHD? Based on what testing/data? Has the PA Psych seen your Neurologists diagnosis/report?
