I was suppose to go to a meeting this am for my new job. It was optional, but I still feel bad that I am not attending. I woke up, took a shower and was ready to head out the door when I suddenly didn't feel so good. I don't know if its first day jitters or truly something I ate last night!

NOw that i am thinking about it, I was not feeling well the first day of my last new job. Maybe a sign, or just coincidence?

I havent had it happen before but it is definately something that you should look into. Only because it does not look good at all when you call in on your first day of work. Next time (not saying that you are going to be looking for another job soon) just try to go to work and see if your ill feeling goes away once you get there.

Caspar and Effie, both of you sound like you're having similar problems as I am. I am at my rock bottom--had to quit my last job in March, been unemployed since then and now I'm having panic attacks about going back to work but I've got to do something because our finances are in DIRE STRAITS. PM me if either of you are looking for someone who understands and will listen.


P.S. I'm thinking of taking a course so I can work from home but I don't know....I'd hate to put so much money into something since I'm broke already and then it not work out.
