it's almost too much info....it's going to take me years to comprehend all of it. i do like the fact that i finally connect with a group of people.

yeah, that's what i like about this website: the fact that i can talk to people without having to *explain* myself/my thoughts/feelings/behavior...
people here have gone through at least *similar* stuff, and so they (*you*) *KNOW*!!!

also, i feel that i can be "who i am"/myself in here...

i'm usually *very* bad with interpersonal "stuff", and i miss a lot of "cues" (i e body language) when i'm face to face with people.
because i *know* i do, i tend to be very nervous and feel very akward in social situations, so "talking" to people on-line is *"perfect"* (well, *almost* "perfect" - i'd really like to be able to handle social situations irl too, but...for now, on-line socializing is what i feel comfortable with, so...;-)!!!

that almost sums it up for me....although i do prefer interacting with people more face to face...the net is a little to impersonal. I do very well in social settings, workplace settings tend to be difficult for me.

I would join my local CHADD but it run by a doc who dismissed when i first started looking into being tested.

Although the people in this forum have made me feel very comfortable and like i belong here. That's something i needed:) !

Actually, my social life is improving having found people to talk to on the web, this forum and another (ex-fundamentalists) can be very personal and friendly.
