i don't usually eat bagels, but i went to the package store that is also a coffee and bagel shop and they had packages of day-old bagels for sale, so i picked up a mixed bag and got the cream cheese when i did groceries that day.....i also like the salmon cream cheese.

we have a bagel shop here but it is on the other side of town. So when I do go, I "stock up" on my favorites!!

we have a food saver vacum system, i should really cut them and seal them so they last longer. in the freezer. but then it takes a while to defrost and toast 'em.....hmmmm.

oh yea we have one of those vacum thingys................it is on the counter and never gets used!!!

yeah, i seldom used mine either, until this last time we went on vacation and i had lots of leftovers that i didn't want to throw out....i sealed and froze it all, and now have instant meals when i don't wanna cook! it keeps away freezer burn.

we got ours, along with all my siblings in laws from my mother in law this last Christmas. She said that it was a "had to have" gift

you should try your food saver....at first i was less than impressed with it (my husband got it because he saw it on tv and got it for camping - as usual the idea is, he buys the thing and i do all the work....) but if you make huge batches of anything, it's great.... just freeze and vacum seal and no more throwing out or eating leftovers for days on end....

just going thru a break up of my 4 year relationship, recently discovered that I have ADD,
my ex can't deal with the resentment she feels for me for the last 4 years, where I have
been distant, forgetful etc. you know the usual ADD symptoms:rolleyes:
basically she took my ADD behaviour a bit too personally,and thought she was helping me
by criticising? (never criticise a ADD person:mad::mad::mad: ) even though I have always been
honest with her about the way I see things (I've always known something was different about
me since I was young but didn't know what it was til now).

so bring on the next chapter "ME And My ADD" :D:D

yes, I am. got through the "big" team presentation (I had 6 minutes of speech) and now we are on to graduating from the Frontline Leadership Readiness Program -- which qualifies me to be a manager at the IRS (shhhh "dark side") should an opening become available. :rolleyes:

i guess. the work is all paper shuffling (mostly) and the pay is better...and the season is slightly longer. i keep looking for ways to lengthen my season, short of taking a job in Andover (45 - 1 hour commute one way).

Traffic & I just do not get along well!!!

i don't mind the drive. i mind the drive every day and then having to be there at a certain time. i like driving, esp. up rt 495 - i get to zoom zoom....:p but after about 2 weeks (i had to do that in october last year) i was burnt out.

zoom zoom= rroooorrrr rrrrooooorrrr (that was suppose to be a siren as in you are getting pulled over)

knock on wood - in 27 years of driving i have gotten 1 speeding ticket, beat a speeding ticket and gotten 1 warning...:D
