minn306 07-28-05, 10:39 AM I guess it's ok -- my husband bought it to tow our camper with; I really prefer my sportscar.....Pontiac Grand Am. Unfortunately, it stopped running on Super Bowl Sunday and noone has been able to repair it. :mad:

that is part of the reason we bought our SUV also. To tow our camper.

The only requirement I have with our next camper is to have one with bunk beds for the kids. I am sssoo tired of taking down the table so that my oldest daughter has a place to sleep

Every 2 or 3 days we were packing up and driving to a new destination.
we went from here (MA) to CA by way of the northern states, down the coast to CA and back through AZ, TX and then up to MA again. the longest we stayed anywhere was 3 days.
my son and i got real good at setting up/tearing down in 1/2 hour.

You should come camping this way......we could have a lot of fun!!!

pembroke 07-28-05, 11:09 AM no - it needs a repair. it seems the roof leaks, and this is not an uncommon thing. it is right on a corner. we opened it up and the light above the bed was full of water, and the covering on the ceiling is bubbling up. apparently, coleman knows about this little flaw and is repairing them. oh, and the furnace is out. we'll be needing that in october.

pembroke 08-01-05, 10:29 PM much better, now that i nixed the idea of taking the dogs for a walk. it started lightning, fenway bolted, and i dropped his leash. he tore back across rt. 12 (a very busy road) all the way to our front door trailing his retractable leash behind him, and me running with the other dog (we're babysitting)! thank goodness nothing was coming. he is small and black, and would've been squish!!! :eek:
