NOTE: I didn't copy and post this from another site. I wrote it myself when feeling creative and silly.

Though it isn't confirmed by any doctors, only by my own personal research, I'm finding that I may have a serious case of OTD-NOS (Off-Topic Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified).
According to the DSM-IV, in order to meet the diagnostic criteria for OTD-NOS, you must meet the following characteristics:
A. Qualitative impairment by atleast 2 of the following:
1. The need to tell or share stupid jokes on serious forums.
2. An obsessive-compulsive desire to tell stories of your personal life and childhood on health forums.
3. A perseverative tendency to post family pictures.
4. Lack of desire to share in the topic at hand in at least 5% of every post made.
B. A pattern of posting (atleast 10% of the time) concerning interests, and activities, as manifested by at least one of the following:
1. Hobbies
2. Weekend Activities and Family Outings
3. Sharing personal websites/homepages
4. Telling stories of children/pets/parents.
C. The disturbance causes clinically significant impairment in forum flow or other important areas of functioning of a health forum due to utter silliness.
D. There is no clinical reason for the topic/s to make such significant changes.
E. There is no clinically significant delay in cognitive development.
F. Criteria is not met for Obsessive-Compulsive Silliness, Clinical Giggling, or Stupid Joke Syndrome.
OTD-NOS is known to commonly co-occur with other psychological and neurological disorders. It is seen 5X more often in females than males but this may only because the men are not as knowledgable as woman at scanning photos and telling jokes.
