Just curious on what the highest level of Concerta dosage is? I'm currently dosed at 54mg, and have a followup appointment on Monday. I'll admit that I did try taking a 72mg dose a couple of days in between to see if there was much difference. I didn't notice alot, but I'm more focused at that point, and able to do my job at work without getting distracted (headphones help alot too). Just wondering where the level stops.

I'll be talking with my doctor about maybe adding a dosage of ritalin in the evening for when I get home, and things start to fall apart again. I really didn't know how bad things were at work until after I started Concerta. I can now see how easy it was for me to lose track of everything I was doing, and not get anything done.

I have seen people report that their dose as high as around 170+mg. The approved max dose for adolescents is 72mg (2 of the 36mg pills), not to exceed 2mg/kg/day:

The manufacture has to do clinical trials on adults and get approval from the FDA to have adult dosage on any label, advertising or other information that patients see. In the meantime, doctors can use the med "off label". The off label use is the use and dose that the doctor feels is appropriate. :D

Here is the listing of clinical trials of concerta on clinicaltrials.gov (including trials on adults):

hope this helps

Some of us have really bad reactions to Adderall-I can never touch the stuff again.

That is a good suggestion though. It is more important to find what works best!
