Great forum! Thanks to David and the mods who have obviously cultivated an attractive community here! I'm grateful to have found you all.
I'm a 44 year old adhd father of three girls aged 10, 14 and 16. I'm proud to say they are active and healthy kids. My youngest is most like her Papa. ;^) By the time she's thirteen you will be having to provide a shoulder to lean on.. ;^) I'm 5' 10" @175 pounds. I've been loosing weight (more protine and less potatoes) and now want to initiate a stable cardio fitness routine.. wish me luck.. I've wanted this for a very long time and each time I over do something.. ;^(
I am self employed as a horologist and hyperfocus is the name of the game..ehheh
I was dignosed with adhd 18 months ago and have been busy trying to avoid taking meds until this fall. I am now doing trials of Methylphenidate and Dexedrine. The Dexedrine seems much much better for me. I am enthused about having such positive changes with the introduction of medication and now wonder what life might have been like had I taken them through my school years and beyond..
I have a poo load of interests. I built a telescope not too long ago and enjoy the night sky.

I've not been here long but the quality of the posts here has given me a sense of being home somehow. I hope you all can put up with me. I'm so grateful to the ideas man "David" (I believe) for dedicating the time necessary to make this all possible. The moderators and administrators seem as if they sport the same dedication and good intentions.
