I started 40mg of adderall xr and I read better, and slower it made more sence. While proof reading my work It seamed as though I could acctually see the page instead of blindly staring at it. Thing, people mostly, did not seam to interupt or bug me as much as usual. I feel like it could do better but I think i will wait a week or so befor I ask to maybe go up to 50mg, i started at 20. I was even reading long post and pages on the web and they were interesting. I did notice with the lower dose i did stay up later at night like 11 and I get up at 5am. I told my wife that this staying up past 11 or 11:30 that it was fun but hard to get up in the morning she said welcome to being normal. Is that a complement????

Yes, I see on many posts about people taking more than 30mg's a day. I tried 60mg's of riddalin and it did nothing.

I woke her up befor I left for work, she said " leave me alone" I told her "welcome to being normal"
She snickered but got to go back to sleep, lucky her :)

O.k now I am up to 45, she wanted me to try 50 but i said we will try 45 first. It hasnt changed that much but a little. My wife says to ask doc to try 60, she is a nurse and is very concervative, it suprised me she said that.
she says she defenitly can see a difference.

Do you all think that the dose is getting to high? I does not make me nervous or really any side effects, accept dry mouth. (water fixed it)

Maybe its not ADD, thats why Ridaline and Adderall bearly work?

Maybe I am expecting magic from the meds?

I do not know, I wish I could make up my mind, and really know what I want, and how I really feel.

Maybe I just am a freak and need to realize this is it, live your life like this forever.

But I think their has to be a better feeling than this. I hate coming to work to see what I did wrong, not because I do not know how to, but because I rushed through it to be done and get home. Get home early to boot :mad:

Steve, Do you take 40 at a time or 20mg twice a day? I take 20 twice a day.

I hear you steve...30mg of AddyXR does very little for me. It makes me wonder if I truly have ADD or is it something else. You would think with 30mg we would feel something. However, wouldn't a "normal" person feel the effects of the Addy especially at 30mg?
