It is really hard to do so much effort to do the same work that someone else do easy...why it is so hard for us...I am tired, I quit my special teaching work at the school last july and I sure this is my last job at any school, I believed that It is real hard to work with many people ( specially womans) at the same time, so I will make it on my on...private consults, worlshops and any thing that's come alone.....:o :o :o

psico175,
I'm so sorry you are feeling so exhausted. I absolutely identify with how you are feeling. I am 40, and I have been unemployed for the past 2+ years (currently receiving SSI). I too feel BURNT OUT!! I just posted this somewhere on another subforum.
I guess we just can DO what we can DO - NO MORE & NO LESS! I recently took out this book entitled something like "Living With Hidden Disabilities." It's about people who have ADHD or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromyalgia or Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome or Multiple Sclerosis, etc. and about how hard it can be because often people (even doctors) do not even BELIEVE that we have something causing us to feel ill. I have been telling my therapist, shrink, GP . . . and many different ones over the years too . . . about my DEBILITATING FATIGUE! They all just tell me to eat right, exercise (and take Geritol everyday). I also am being treated for "my depression."
I guess after 40 years, I have finally reached the point where I'm TOO TIRED to care how disgusting people find my "laziness."
Good luck to you,
Sue

Just wanted to say "I hear ya!". (I'm a teacher too)
I'm not diagnosed (I worked at a camp in America for ADHD kids and all the specialists I worked with were like "you're an adult ADHD case if I ever saw one!)
Anyway...what was I saying, lol
Yeah, it takes me about 5 hours to plan a 2 hour lesson to teach. I'm usually up until 3am staring into space or getting sidetracked.
Everyone else seems so on top of things and in bed by 10pm, grrrr!
I'm tired too....so I hear ya, and I sympathise...
We just gotta hang in there - and if you ever get hyperfocus like I do from time to time, we gotta rinse it for all its worth!
Best wishes,
Debbie xxx

Hey.. sorry you feel so tired. I guess most of us here can relate. I suffer hugely from fatigue and am frequently labelled as "lazy". I hate it because I think "do they actually think I would be like this if I could help it?? Do they think I ENJOY being this way???"
I have recently had to take a break from midwifery training (eek.. totally working with women all the time hehe).. but I am determined to go back and show the ones who think I can't do it that I CAN!!
Anyway... I have no brilliant advice.. but it always helps me to hear that other people are having the same sort of feelings/problems and it makes me feel less alone.
Best wishes from me too... CLT x
