I have almost all the common symptoms for ADD, but besides them my main complaint has been fatigue. Before I knew I had ADD I was diagnosed with depression. After being treated both medically (I went thorugh a few drugs, and I am currently on Paxil 50mg XR), and through counseling for depression, I seemed to be over most of my depression symptoms but what remained was the chronic fatigue. I also had other symptoms which have now been explained by ADD. I've been prescribed Adderall 20mg for the ADD, and it works well.
What's just as important to me is that the Adderall eliminates my chronic fatigue. Is it possible that the chronic fatigue is part of the ADD. Or is the Adderall just solving two problems for me. I'm just curious because it seems that people, especially with Adult ADD seem to have fatigue or depression like symptoms.
I do have a slight case of sleep apnea and a some sinus issues. All seem a lot better or completely eliminated by Adderall.
