it's spelled something like that I think. I just wanted to mention that my bipolar diagnosis was over two years ago and I am just now getting to a place that I might be able to function and be consistant. I bring up clonazepam because I started it about 4 days ago and ever since, it has helped with a lot of my symptoms. I had chest pain I could not get rid of, a lot of social anxiety, and not much desire to live. I was already taking lithium and prozac which were a little help but adding this anti anxiety med seems to be making the most difference. my doc has also suggested wellbutrin at a small does because then all of the neurotransmitters are covered. we'll see. I'm hoping that I am not just kind of on a high waiting for my crash. Just a week ago I was seriously considering suicide because of my lack of ability to function. So I am doing a lot better now. Any one know why this specific med might help like this? It has also eased my racing thoughts and negative thoughts.

Clonazapam is generic Klonopin, a benzodiazapine. Same class of medications (minor tranquilizers) as Valium, Xanax, Restoril, Atavan, etc.

So it would help significantly with anxiety issues and so forth. I have taken Klonopin in the past with excellent results. :)
