I notice during the evenings when the Adderall has worn off, I can feel my heart beating. Is this a normal occurance or is this something that I should be worried about? I just read that feeling your heart beat is called a arrithymia?

No I havent felt that. I thought I felt my heart beat quicken when I first starting taking adderall---but now I think maybe I was hyperaware or something...looking for side effects of the new medication.
I feel my energy level bottom out when my adderall wears off. Right now I am still on the regular generic adderall...but I am supposed to try xr next week.

I just read that feeling your heart beat is called a arrithymia?there's no way to know if it's something to worry about or not without listening to your heart and seeing an EKG. so... that means talk to your doctor:cool:. arrithymia just means any heart rhthym that isn't normal. that includes basically everything from just beating a little fast (but in a normal fasion - aka sinus tachycardia) to just had a major heart attack & about to croak. only a doc can figure out if you have an arrithymia and if so, what type it is.
that said, it's most likely nothing. i noticed the same thing for a couple months when i first started taking adderall. my heart wouldn't beat fast until after the drug wore off! i've heard other people make similar comments before. if it's enough to worry you, then it may be reasonable to try a beta-blocker to slow your heart rate down in the evenings when this happens.
good luck!

Adderall is composed of 4 different salts and 2 different chemical isomers Dextro-Amphetamine and Levo-Amphetamine. Dextro is normal old amphetamine but levo is primarily a cardivoscular stimulant (causes raised blood preassure/heart rate) and is half as effective of a CNS stimulant as d-amp. Why use the Levo-amphetamine if it sucks? Because it makes adderall last two hours longer. This also leads to the more speedy feeling of adderall where as dexedrine feels much more smooth and less tense.
The cardiovascular effects are the reason i moved over to dexedrine.

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. I'm the same way, my heart doesn't beat fast until the Adderall wears off!
