Please would like feed back from those of you on Concerta. My Dr switched me from Adderall XR 20 mg twice daily to Concerta 27 mg twice daily along with Wellburtrin SR l00 mg twice daily. Adderall XR would be covered at a higher cost through my insurance, Dr said that Concerta would do the same thing.

I paniced so I ran home and looked on the web about Concerta. Doesn't seem to be any different. Perhaps a better form of Ritalin without the high low effects. Before Adderall I would have just gone to the pharmacy and had this med filled, but now I am exploring what's going on. That's good.

Just need some response from anyone on Concerta and how they're doing. I can wait till tomorrow to have these Rx's filled. I have one more Adderall to start my day with. Thanks friends.

I am on Concerta and Welbutrin XL. I like how it works all day, and that the only thing I really see wrong with it is that you can get tired all the sudden when it does wear off. I was on Ritalin for awhile, which I disliked taking more than once a day. I like that it is easier to not "forget" to take it if it is once a day. It does help you lose weight, if that is a good thing for you!

Thank you for your response. I too am new to this site. I went ahead a filled the concerta 20 mg twice daily with Buprion (same as Wellbutrim) twice daily to help with depression. I'll start the new mix tomorrow. Was on Ritalin then was switched to Adderall XR. I liked it better than Ritalin because of the up downs. Tomorrow I have my first visit with a Phycoglist--sorry about spelling. I'm sure know what I mean. My road to getting better is surely on the way after all these year feeling different from others.
I have just started reading the posts on Concerta. One of the moderators was nice enough to direct my inquiry to the correct thread. Let me hear how your doing as well.
