was scripted 80mgs gen Ritalin, now 3, 30mg IR Adderall daily, stronger and less robotic feeling, i am male near 6ft tall and weight 62kgs, i am never hungry, how do you over come this?, and does Dexedrine lessen this effect?:rolleyes:

My cousin (who is 8) seems to have the same problem on 25mg adderall xr. He doesn't eat a lot. As long as you maintain a healty weight, I don't see it as a problem. Maybe you can try forcing youself to eat, even when not hungry. I really don't know. I don't have this problem on my medications as I don't take adderall...

Thats what I take, 30mg IR 3x a day, My new doc was shocked when she found out how much adderall I was taking and even wanted to lower my dose to 2 30mg doses a day, but ended up letting me continue with my normal dosage. I feel better knowing there is at least one other person out there who takes the same dose as me. Anyway back to your question, adderall definately suppresses my appetite, But I use this as a chance to eat healthy, since i dont crave my usual unhealthy foods. I make sure I eat, and eat healthy.

In my unqualified opinion, the use of comercially available amphetamine at a dosage of 90mg perday is entirely excessive. The unlisted nerve agents, that are added to all of the amphetamines on the market, block the dopamine efflux action of the amphetamine. The amphetamine then attachs preferentially to nural sites which cause epinephrine release. This is dangerous for your circulatiory system. If you are interested in research into my opinion, go to the BIOSIS database. Your keywords are dopamine, inhibitors and NIDA, whose grants support most of the researh behind these nerve agents. Pure amphetamines are truly wonder drugs. For example, see recent results of amphetamine assisted rehibilitation by stroke victims. Again, in my opinion, amphetamine obtained from the corner drug is adulterated. A very minimalistic approach to the use of ritalin, ssri, herbs and coaching, will do the trick. A word to the wise is sufficient.
