My doc switched me from xanax to ativan-for better control of my anxiety. In less than 24 hours, I have hit the wall, since these are both benzodiazapams, what could possibly be going on? It was stressful at school, but if the meds were working right would this be going on? I am not even thinking clearly, just so afraid and out of control of my emotions.

I would like some suggestions if anyone has any. I also take 200 Bupropion 100mg 2x day, ritalin, 10mg 3x day, 72mg concerta

xanx was .25mg 3x day went up to .5 ativan 3x day + 1.0 ativan at bedtime.

Awwww I hate that! I hope you feel better. Call your doc ASAP! Tell him that this medication isn't for you. Listen to your body, it will give you all the information you need on your wellbeing.

Thanks K-I did not get home in time to call doc-but did not take the Ativan-wow, feel as normal as is possible for me! Just a few little pills and blamo-I either tolerate a drug well or have horrible problems and strange reaction. There is rarely an in-between for me!
