Hi all,

I am adding few stop smoking ways and will be waiting for your responses thank you.

After a long time, you have finally decided to stop smoking cigarettes. To stop smoking cigarettes means a complete change in your life style. Once you thought to stop smoking cigarettes, the first job is to bring a change in your normal daily routine life.

Building a New Atmosphere

You need to build up a brand new atmosphere for yourself. Building up a new atmosphere is also a part of exercise to stop smoking cigarettes. Make everything around you such that it will give a fresh feeling to you. For Example, if you often smoke near the telephone then change its location.

Exercise

You need to set a new timetable for yourself. Include the visit to gym in your daily routine. Go for a morning walk or jog, it is not possible for you to go to gym. This is the healthiest way for the beginning of the day…………………..

Other Ways To Stop Smoking

Instead of going for coffee, go for tea, clean your houses and try to divert from everything that reminds you of smoking cigarettes. Do something interesting in evening, but take care not to play on money.................

Hello everyone,

The power of suggestion is a great tool to rid your life of smoking for good.

BE sure that you are well rested and pick a day for your quitting that you feel energized and willing to stick to your guns. Do not just start for the sake of starting to quit!

You can make psychology work to your advantage and in your favor, which might actually get your results that can actually last and succeed. No anger, resentment, feelings of failure and the like will plague you any longer. You will be learning and claiming that smoking is bad for you and that quitting is a great pleasure and reward in and of itself to take you on that road of success of ridding your life, routine and health of smoking!

The THREE techniques individually and collective that we propose involve elements of relaxing and relaxation techniques, projection type visualization or envisioning and even some professional or self-hypnosis.

Some might have success right away in a couple of days, for others it might take a little longer. This is the positive steps/step that you are taking of really having that last cigarette – determined to quit once and for all and making it work, stick and last! YOU WILL KNOW IT and CLAIM it. YOU WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Today is going to be a great day, because I am enjoying fresh air.

I can handle more than i think i can and I wont touch fag.

Things don't get better by worrying about them, face them and forget about fag.

I can be satisfied if i try to do my best, Yes I am doing I will not smoke again never ever.

Interesting post. Would seem we're at an advantage with ADD'ers being fairly accomplished at the art of diversion. Problematic thing, I guess, is that these diversions are often quite brief-- in which case we're back at square a** one: face to face with the temptation of just one more hit of a pulmonary pumping, dopamine kicking stick of momentary happiness-- followed by an assured, all round "I feel like s**t for just doing that to myself" type sentiment..

Sorry.. I'm really not a DD (debbie downer), I'm just currently going through this. Useful post though. I agree with excercising in the morning. Whenever I do this it's generally a rarity that I feel like lighting up because the energy of a morning workout keeps me going, and prompts me to question myself throughout a day: you've just cleaned your lungs, why would you go n' dirty them now young lady?
