Just wanted to ask if anyone here has tried L-Tyrosine supplements while taking Strattera. I've seen someone mention on a much older thread that it's safe and they tried it, but no comment on whether it works.
I guess the idea is that L-Tyrosine is the precursor to norepinephrine and dopamine, the two neurotransmitters that Strattera works on. In theory, if you take it, you can keep your supplies of norepinephrine and dopamine high. Then when Strattera works to prevent the reuptake of the neurotransmitters it has a better supply to work with.
I've felt a partial fade in the effects of Strattera after about a month. After I got up to my full dose I felt great for a while, now good but not as great. Could L-Tyrosine be a help here?
