I think I seen it mentioned before- if I was not dreaming.

Is there a study that shows that from a neurological point of view(brain imaging?) medicated AD/HD children are more alike non AD/HD children than the unmedicated one?

I've seen PET scan studies that show frontal lobe activity of children on stimulants looking more normal than the controls (or non-medicated children).

Try doing an Internet search to include "Brain perfusion", "ADHD", and "Children". (or try "PET", or "SPECT" in place of "Brain perfusion"). You will likely find something then!

Best of luck! :)

This one is about brain volume of treated being no different than normal and never medicated brain volume being less:
