Well, i was reading up on wikipedia, and restleg legg syndrom seems like something i might be suffering from

The sensations are unusual and unlike other common sensations, and those with RLS have a hard time describing them. People use words such as: uncomfortable, electrical, creeping, painful, itching, pins and needles, pulling, creepy-crawly, ants inside the legs, and many others. The sensation and the urge can occur in any body part; the most cited location is legs, followed by arms. Some people have little or no sensation, yet still have a strong urge to move.this is exactly the thing i have, its some weird feeling in my leg, and somethimes i start "hitting, or whatever the english word is) on my leg to get it out

i'm wondering, is this also just a sign of adhd or is it a complete differend thing?

Sure sounds like RLS to me -- I do the "hitting" part too; my loved ones always get alarmed, but I try to reassure them that it's not a self-destructive behavior; it feels good. RLS seems to have a high correlation with ADD. If you use the "Search" thingy on the blue line up there (do I sound computer savvy or what?), and look for restless leg, you'll find lots of messages about RLS from the forums.

thx! been reading about it lately
seems like RLS is threatend with a drug for parkinson's desease, i beleive its caused by a dopamine defiency in brain regions that standard ADD treatments dont affect

that makes sense

When I was studying Nutrition I remember Calcium or Magnesium (not sure which, I forgot... I have ADD ;) ) deficiency being responsible for RLS.

I think a good Calcium/Magnesium supplement could help if you give it a couple of months to work. Take them as a combined supplement, because you need more Calcium in your body thatn Magnesium, but they work in synergy with each other, so its better if the amounts are already calculated.
