After coming to the realization that I may have ADHD and making this post (http://www.addforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33664) I went to my doctor and was prescribed 40mg of Strattera. He told me to take one daily in the morning, but after reading a bit more I was wondering -- Would it be better to take at night before sleeping (As I have heard fatigue is a common side-effect) or if I do take it in the morning how long before class should I pop one? I'm hoping this will be the "miracle medicine" my pharmist claimed it to be.

From what I have experienced, the tired feeling should go away after a week or two. I take it as soon as I wake up.
hey there kidotakon,
i started Srattera about 3 weeks ago or so,
doc started me off at 80mg a day, one 40 at around 9AM and the other at about 9PM. For some taking the 40mg at 9PM may keep them up. I know that one side affect is fatigue and tiredness, but it can keep you up if you take it right before bed. The doc said that move the 9PM earlier to where it works for you. So now i take one at 9PM or so to get that one in my system and working for class and such, then i take on around 6PM or so which works pretty well....do a litle experimentation for yourself to see what works best :) ....good luck....report back so we know how it's going.
