while I can feel the effects of straterra working on my concentration, I have seen nothing to the effect of helping my poor short term memory -- something which I thought could be helped by medication. are most of you who are on medication see any improvement with working memory, because I have yet to see any, but i may be expecting too much from the medicine.

my most important question is then if you are taking a medication and noticing improvements in both concentration and memory, what is the medication you are taking? i'm aware different medications have different effects for different people but i'm nonetheless curious

ritalin helps my memory
ususally like for example i see something on TV i say to myself "i have to tell my dad this" but usually forget
with ritalin it pops back up when i see my dad, it rocks

i heared strattera aint that good for memory, because it doesnt affect dopamin as much

I'm on Adderall which I like but find my short memory ain't so hot. If I focus on something and let it sink in a sec, then I see improvement. Writing things down seems the best insurance policy.

Good Luck,

SL :)

Im on concerta and I havent noticed any improvement in memory.

I agree with solarlife that writing things down is the best way to remember semething.

Ive only recently been diagnosed (July) and am on Ritalin. I wasn't expecting any change in short term memory but it definantly has.
