I was on dexedrine back in grade 6-9 along with Zoloft. I remember back then that I complained to my therapist that I started to worry about things a lot. He changed my medication, I'm not sure if it was the Zoloft or Dexedrine. I do not believe, however I don't remember quite clearly, that it helped any.

I'm back on Dexedrine. Although, I do worry a little bit more than the average person, I've found that my worrying over simple things has increase. I am constantly checking my pockets to make sure I still have my keys, wallet, cell phone. Checking my backpack to make sure that all my books are in there. Checking my backpack again, even though nothing could have moved, to see if the books are still there. It's just not logical! And then I end up leaving a ruler in the classroom today.... so the worrying did nothing.

Has anyone else had similiar situations?

Adderall (which is similar to Dexedrine) tended to make me more anxious and obsessive. I think that's somewhat common w/ amphetamines.

Adderall was straight up OCD in a pill and with dexedrine I tend to be driven... worrying and then doing the Pro's and Con's to find a solution... I tend to hyperfocus often as well with both but I would panic if I couldn't finish the routine I had on Adderall... The looking for keys in all pockets and checking everything before I leave is in my case due to a higher level of awareness whereas without meds I'd forget it and get burned
