I'm just discovering why I've never fitted in anywhere and why every day of my life has been a constant battle:( I reckon I have AD/HD. My daughter(10yr old)
has just been diagnosed and every time I find out more about AD/HD I couldn't help but say "Uh Oh" are they talking about my daughter or me!!!!!!! :eek: Now I know why the thort of having to help teach her to be organised has been soooo difficult, I have always struggled to organise myself let alone 3 kids & a husband!!! And I thort I was always dumb, will hurumph!!!! to that :)

a number of us have seen ourselves reflected in our child/ren and realized the same thing is going on with us as with them. my daughter's dx prompted mine....her struggles in school were like watching a movie reel of myself at that age....

no, you are not lazy or stupid or any other negative thought you may have had about yourself. you are an ADDer.

We know what you mean, and know your plight. Where do you live roughly in Australia. This is so we might be able to recommend you to a shrink of some discription. This is only if you feel comfortable with this.
