anyone else has this problem? ritalin reduces the yawning but its kinda anoying

I used to yawn quite a bit, but I find that on the Adderall, I don't yawn at all. In fact, deep breaths are often difficult. Do you take any other meds? SSRIs have always made me yawn a lot, and it is one of the common side effects.

i'm wondering, would make melatonin make me sleep deeper?

It might help, but I couldn't really answer that from experience. I've always slept like a rock when I get to sleep. It's getting there that's the issue for me. Try it and see if it helps. It's really cheap ($3 - $5 a bottle), and it's not at all dangerous. If it doesn't work for you, you didn't lose much. If you're a light sleeper, that could likely be the cause of all of the yawning. You're not getting enough quality sleep, so you're just tired.

here you need a prescription for melatonin, i'l ask my doc :)
