I gave eli lilly a call today about problems I am having with pain in my testicles while taking strattera. They said that they have no information of this side affect on strattera.

I did a google search and a yahoo search on strattera and testicle pain and they had lots of information about this.

I can understand the reasons why they would put this as a side effect, because if they did they wouldnt get a lot of people to try this stuff.


Strattera is working really good for me and my add, but its getting hard to deal with this problem because the pain last for about an hour and it feels like my testicle are in a vice.

Any information about why strattera may cause this side effect would greatly be appreciated

I think you should talk to your doctor about this. He may decide to try you on a different med or change your dosage.

Actually, I've had this problem TWICE now in the last week (never happened before).

I feel like I've been kicked in the nuts....not as a "similar" feeling, but literally the real thing - the guys here should know and sympathize on this one. NOT good.


I'm not really too sure what might be the cause....its possible that the "pain threshold" has been lowered in that area (just a guess), making one feel pain easier than would otherwise be required to do so.


Anyway, I love the Strattera so far, and hope that these were just isolated incidents (maybe I bumped into something LOL).

i used to get pain down there too, I used too eat about 10 cases of yogurt a week , any way i found out later that it was a kidney stone. so maybe you should check it out.
