Participants needed for a research study on the impact of parental beliefs of children diagnosed with ADHD on treatment decisions.

I am a doctoral candidate in the Ph.D. Clinical Psychology Program at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Francisco. As part of my doctoral dissertation, I am looking at the role of parentsí beliefs in the treatment of ADHD. In order for health care professionals to do a better job in helping children with ADHD, it is important to learn what factors influence parentsí treatment decisions. If you have a child between the ages of 5 and 12 who has been diagnosed with ADHD by a licensed health care professional, you are invited to participate in a 15- minute Internet survey.

To complete the survey, please click on the following link: (

About the survey:

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete on the Internet. It is anonymous, meaning I donít ask for your name, and once you submit the survey, I wonít be able to know who completed it. It is voluntary, meaning that you only complete the survey if you want to, and you may stop participating at any time; however, because the study is anonymous, the data cannot be removed once you have submitted your responses.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
