is the ritalin patch easy to work with i might wanna try it? can some people rate it?

does it stay on?
do you need higher or lower dose compared to the pill? or same?
is it smooth or immediatly your feeling it kick in?

I don't know how the patch stays on but I do know its suppose to last for approx 9 hrs in the bloodstream when left on all day. My mom likes this idea because when people start methylphenidate they can start with the patch to check for allergic reactions, if the allergic reaction starts the patch can be immediately removed and the flow of medicince will cease. If they took the pill theyd have to wait for the pill to clear from their body... I don't know if they approved the patch for use in adults yet, but it never hurts to ask...
