Hello everyone,

I recently dicovered I have ADD and I'm 31! I just thought what I did and thought was normal. I quess starting 15 businesses but not really finishing any of them was normal.

I can't get in to see a doctor until the end of the month so I have opted to self-medicate with Ephredine products. I know it's not a good idea but it's just until I can get real medicine. I don't feel like I have too many other options right now. I discovered ADD was my problem after coming to end of the rope financially and trying to figure out what my problem was.

Anyway, my question is this. When I really try to focus and get my work (self employeed) done and I mean really try to focus for the entire day I find myself brain dead the following day. Does this happen to anyone else? It's like I made the bulb burn to bright and it burns out.

I'm looking forward to trying real medicine. If that doesn't work please someone just shoot me.

Be careful about the ephedrine. My sister-in-law was hospitalized last year with heart problems that were exacserbated by epheda in diet pills. Do you use caffeine as well?

Yes please do be carefull with Ephedrine products, I was self medicating with them for a while, and I stopped because my heart was racing and that scared me.

I have been off them for some months now, my focus is worse, but I would rather have the proper meds, or none for now rather than have a heart attack.

Please be carefull.

I have went through about 50 some 25mg tablets in less than 2 weeks. I also drink around 8 cups of coffee a day. I ran out of regular ephedrine and bought some generic pseudoephedrine today but it's doing anything. I'm not planning on taking anymore because over the last couple of days my chest has become "sore"... like a heartburn type feeling. Yesterday I had a pretty good day. I got things done but I have spent the last 5 hours today scanning the net. It started from 1 Google search. I'm going to leave the house for alittle bit to clear my head. Hopefully I can manage to get something done before all my clients are gone.

P.S- I don't see how Ephedrine could work long term. Tolerance builds up fast!
