Wow Dorm you found some thing kinda controversial.
What you might do is to gdo a google search for all the info you can find on spindle cells and adhd and see if anyone other thatn the authors of that book have anything that correlates with it.
I'm like you... skeptical about it. I think that if there was an obvious "cure" , it would be a popular item with so many people who have these disorders.
ME :D
This "doctor" is a chiropractor who treates neurological conditions, NOT an MD , nor is he a neurologist.
He says he can cure adhd. I think unproven claims to be able to cure ADHD ought to be taken to court as fraudulent.
Seriously, we all know there is no known cure. We would all welcome one, and we would all expect that it be proven medically before anyone claims it to be a bona-fide "cure". I don't think I'm being unreasonable by asking for good medical and scientific practice from someone who sdays they can cure my ADHD. Someone correct me if I am wrong...

well from what i have found is that spindle cells have been around since no early than 91 an no later than 2001 there daughter cells ive have meany links so you may look an read up on them there bear no realetship to mirror nurnons.....witch do seem to play a role again theres very early finding on spindle cells not enough to make claims like i have seen to date as you have said hes not what he says he is only aThis "doctor" is a chiropractor and not a neurologist.....as you point out ....i have done some indeath reading an i can find no logic to serport the claims in this book .......medical and scientific <<<thats true its not unresable to expated that speedo its good scientics to do that... its not just that he claims the things he dose but he makes out what we all have in its verce forms dont extsied as if its just in our minds but at same time says there are few semileratives iam not trying to be >>thing kinda controversial.
but as you say someones got to stand up an say something ....lol THATS ME THEN ,,,,anyways i hope you all look at this with an objetcive light ...

Funny how many opinions and promises there are for any medical conditions. Quacks, cracks, and nut cases abound, in "traditional" medicine and in "nontraditional" medicine. I will take some time to read these links later this month. I have to be in the right frame of mind to get through this kind of stuff!
What dorm brings to our attention is important. If people are publishing books that are total misinformation, offer promises of cures, and manipulate, ignore, or misuse data from valid studies and medical and other types of trials we need to be aware. Heck we may run into a doctor who believes this stuff.
What does the information dorm shares mean for us? We must educate ourselves about ADD, just like we must about any other disease or disorder. Just watch Mystery Diagnosis on Discovery Health and see how many people have wadded through misdiagnosis, unaware docs, tremendous medical bills, and horrible health problems before getting an accurate diagnosis and whatever treatment is possible and available for their affliction.
I have been misdiagnosed, wrongly medicated, and had severe drug interactions missed. I learned years ago to advocate for myself, make the final choices about my treatment plans, and dump bad docs when needed-not always easy with insurance plans.
The bottom line is this read, learn, advocate for yourself. Most doctors respect educated patients. They know we are more likely to have good treatment outcomes compared to those who just do what the doctor says.
Thank you dorm for taking the time to gather and share this information with us. I know every post you make takes you much longer and is much more difficult with your dyslexia, I appreciate your time and care in starting this thread.
