Because we live in an apartment building my first thought was something has happened in the building then I looked out the window and saw the black smoke and then my thought was an airplane has crashed. We have a small airport nearby.

My Mother called soon after she has a police/fire scanner and she told us what was happening. We listened to WBZ on the radio after that.

My daughter and I just now come back from seeing what we could see. We saw the backs of some houses and alot of smoke.

My daughter has many friends who live very very close and they reported broken windows and fallen stuff in their homes. One of her friends said she was knocked out of BED !!!!

My work asked me if I could be on standby to bus people out of there, I wasn't called.

I have many many more stories............. I wont bore you ;)

I'm so glad to hear you are ok. I saw this on the news today. They were saying that it was felt as far away as York Maine too. I am familiar with the area. I used to work at Hunt Hospital and do a lot of traveling to Beverly via route 35.
