Just a general question. I was just dancing to a fast song on my I-pod in my living room. I love to dance, and dang it , I think I am pretty good LOL:D

I love to dance. But only when there's no one else around, especially my daughter, who thinks my dancing is incredibly funny -- which it is.

Well, to be totally honest, what I do probably should be called moving and jumping around rather than dancing. I've never been able to learn a real dance in my life; I can't remember movements. But "I know it's only rock n roll but I like it."

Hey Peridot, we are both unemployed teachers who can't dance and know it's only rock 'n roll and like it! I have a funny feeling we are really close in age. What do you teach? Did you? Want to? Are you looking? I am. Today though, I wanted to chuck it. Subbing sucks like a hoover.

RADD
You should see the middle-aged white lady try to rap! :D But it is fun G! How are all my teacher homey's and peeps?

Me too! but I quit aerobic classes, crashed into people going left instead of right. No line dancing for me! Salsa would be cool and tap! I like how Ellen DeGeneres dances, I could learn to do that.

I can dance very well actually, but I look like a very fat quivering ameoba when I dance these days. I got a very very VERY high compliment from Spacemania when she caught me dancing in the kitchen...and then she told me lose some weight so she would not be embarrassed to see me dance in public :eyebrow:...she DID say I was great though and that's high praise indeed from a Tween.

I dance in the grocery store to muzak ya know :D.

I love to dance when I am in a really good mood or when I am drunk. I will dance around the house when a song that I really loves comes on the radio, the kids love it, they join right in. And I can only dance in public if I'm drunk. I think I'm an "ok" dancer, but not the best, I"m not as bad as my husband, I don't allow him to dance in public!! Singing and dancing make me happy. Sometimes when I am mad I can listen to a song I really love really loud and sing to it really loud, more like scream to it, it makes me feel better. I don't know exactly what it is, maybe the screaming part is some kind of release for me or something.
Oops sorry, off topic, we're talking about dancing Andrea, not singing!:o
I LOVE TO DANCE, it's basically my reaction to a song I love, well a fast song I love. Sometimes if a slow song I love comes on the radio, I will turn it up and will grab one of my kids in my arms and twirl them around with me, they love that, so do I!:)

Does anyone driver dance? Grooving to the music while driving? The construction workers stare! But I love it! (Never in traffic jams though!) Open interstate, radio cranked up loud, sing along loud, grooving.

I only dance in public if I am having a few of grandpa's ol' cough medicines. LMAO:D

But at home by myself, no problem. :D

RADDAh yes, where I'm from we call it chair dancing! Love to chair dance! There is nothing like driving down the street on a perfect fall or spring day, windows open, radio cranked up with a great, upbeat song that you love playing!:D

Oh, RADDMom, you are so right on! Car dancing is great, particularly when you're at a stop light and you can add arm movements to the rear end bouncing. For singing along, yes, it is better to be in motion (and if the song is "Jumpin' Jack Flash", on an interstate you can press down on the accelerator every time they sing "Gas, gas, gas." Actually, with my car, I can do it in parking lots since pressing down on my car's accelerator has no effect unless I keep it pressed down for about 5 minutes and even then produces only a slow, slight increase in speed.)

Time out, turn on the radio, sit down, stand up, and dance, in the car or on the floor, turn it up and dance some more!

Dance the Wonky Happy Dance. Or is it the Happy Wonking Dance? Stunding up? Wonking. Driving? Honking. Get down! Get Wonky, drink some cough medicine and groove my peeps.

RADD, Rockin, rollin, discoin, twistin, rapping, hippin, and hoppin. After 3 drinks, fallin.
