Anyone on Effexor for either the main ADD symptoms or comorbid symptoms of depression and/or anxiety?

I've been taking effexor since July. It's helped a lot with anziety. and provided a bit of feel good.. I wasn't actually having problems with depression to start with.. but did cut out the occasional depressive state.

That's the same thing with me... I have had what I'd call "situational" depression because of the things ADD has done to my life (or that I've let it do to my life)... impulsive spending, overeating, poor performance on the job, low motivation... which led to insecurity, lack of self-confidence, major anxiety, and the "head in the sand" syndrome where I basically ignored the problems until they became too big to ignore. All that led to occasional depression/sadness... so I am hoping if I treat some of the root -- the ADD -- then the anxiety and the occasional bout of depression will also fade.
