Anyone else putting off doing something right now? I have to take a shower and was going to go into the office and get some stuff done. But, I keep finding that I am reading more and more posts...and starting threads! :rolleyes:

Yes. Organizing all my ring binders, patterns, fabrics, office supplies, remaining art supplies, teaching stuff-all paperwork, and shelving books in boxes. The dam stuff won't do it by themselves. But they sure seem to grow bigger.

I should be in my car going to my sister's house for Christmas dinner. My parents should have already arrived. So I took my xanax, made sure I have some in my purse and took a shower and need to add a bit of make up.

I wish I didn't dread seeing my family. Why am I so afraid of my my Dad's sarcastic remarks and put downs? Sometimes I even have a great time. I have too much fear and anxiety. Hoping diagnosis appt on Jan 8 will lead to effective treatment.

And oh yea, I didn't have enough money this year to buy gifts. Not even at Goodwill. So I feel guilty because they will give me something. I'm depressed. My daughter is thousands of miles away in Atlanta, and I should be used to having every other Christmas without her, since it has been that way since my divorce10 years ago.

Please send me some happy thoughts. :(

I am allergic to narcotics - they were going to give me Toradol injectables - but the only way I would have done those is if they let me go home with the IV - lol. Those shots hurt in the butt. I could just imagine my fiance saying - "bend over"...

Too bad! If you can get just a teensy shot of morphine, the butt thing would be worth it.

Oh I got tons finished! What I have NOT done is fold it; its all piled up on my sofa :o...laundry is sooooooo annoying, very troublesome, it never ends!

What I hate is the never ending unmated sock basket. Every couple of weeks we will sort through it. I am vowing, before the end of the summer - we will wash every last article of clothing in this house, search every dresser, under every bed, and what is not mated, goes in the burn pit....(besides, it is time for new ones for back to school).

I have that too! Except I call it "The Sock Nightmare" :D and odd socks become puppets for the 2 year old, or makeshift weaponry (don't ask).

I should still be folding that laundry.

I should be cleaning up the table after dinner - but my kids are still eating (pokey children anyhow).

Straightening up the house (toys, etc) and moppping floors, but I think I may wait until the kids go to bed and get out from underfoot. They will likely make more of a mess by bedtime anyway.

Going to the store to get more DP...fat chance in this storm!

UGH - feel for you CF. I wouldn't want to set foot in my kids rooms if I didn't have to. I have had to learn to simply shut their door, until I force them in there for an extended period to clean it up...
