I'm curious as to if there is a comprehensive site or list on the net that details what meds (stimulants) are legal in specific countries. Does anyone know of such a resource, or is it simply a matter of researching each nation one may be traveling to individualy?

Research each nation on your own. Laws change, and so do governments. You need the most current info anyway. Any website resource could easily be out of date. Check several places too. Travel sites might be helpful, but go to the source, the laws of each country. I do know Australia is OK for Methylphenidate! Everything must, absolutely must be in the original prescription bottle with label. Those foreign jails are not too nice, so I've heard.

I agree with RADDmom, you will have to research each country. Call the US Embassy for each nation. ALWAYS travel with the original prescription bottle, even if you are in YOUR OWN COUNTRY. If you live in New York and go to Las Vegas without the bottle for Ritalin (like you have it in a plastic bag) you will most likely spend time in jail until your prescription can be verified by pharmacy/doctor.

Yes Methylphenidate AND Dextroamphetamine are the two stims in Australia and New Zealand. However Desoxyn (Methamphetamine) is a Sch I drug and it would be interesting to see a customs officers face when they found a quantity of Sch I, Class A drug (allbe it legally scripted) in your luggage:)
