What Its Like To Have ADD

http://www.acbr.com/fas/adhdlike.htm

By Dr Edward M. Hallowell (from " Driven to Distraction ")

This was a good artical for me to find as it enhances the way I feel about my ADD

I love haveing ADD I wouldnt trade it to be straight for all the tea in china (well mabey then people would call me excentric not strange)

I find that there is to much focus on the depressing parts of ADD

Focus on the ADDed ADDvantages and the negatives dont seem to be quite as important

I also agree that there are many ADDvantages to have AD/HD.

Have you read any books by Thom Hartmann or Lynn Weiss?

I'll have to pick up one of those books Tara. I haven't found any advantages to having ADD yet . Maybe I found out too late what I had. Maybe from fighting it so many years without support or knowledge but I'd like to find some LOL.

I suggest the local library ! I can't afford to buy books. If they don't have it they can usually get it from another library in a day or so.

I like the link and bookmarked it in my collection of ADD ADHD links. I'm learning/studying what addvantages can come with ADD.
