So today i started a trial period of two weeks on 10 mg of dexedrine. I'm supposed to take it at 8:00 AM every morning. In 2 weeks i'm going back to the doctor to discuss how everything went. Then we will decide if i should keep using it.

I took the first pill this morning at 8:00. The the only side effect that i'm experiancing right now is dry mouth. I feel cheery and wanna hum and sing all the time and i just want to get up and do something productive. I'm also finding that my motor skills are a bit better.

I just have one question. I forgot to ask my doctor this. Can i take a headache pill like advil with dexedrine in my system? Also i know it says to be careful with stuff such as driving and operating machinery but should or should i not drive?

I have been taking Dexedrine for years, and my Dr. specifically told me that Advil was the best OTC pain medicine to take if I had a headache while on Dexedrine, or any other prescription stimulant. I am not sure why he said that, but I suspect he probably had a reason.

Concerning your safety behind the wheel is concerned, that is something that only you can answer. If you are one of those people who find that you are sedated from the effects of Dexedrine, then driving may not be a wise choice. However, if it stimulates you so much that you do not feel safe driving, then driving may not be a good choice at that time either.

I find that it actually improves my driving performance. In fact, during combat the U.S. military (and a few other countries) administer Dexedrine to pilots in combat as a performancing enhancing drug while flying sorties. They (U.S. military) refer to them as "go pills."
