if the adderall is sending her into rages. she really needs to get off of it. there are so many options out there.
im trying to get pregnant now. so im not taking my strattera. i mostly feel jittery.
i haev found that sleepy time tea is an awaesome help. it calms me down so im able to center myself and focus. im also taking pre natals too. those help me to feel alot better. my eating could be better right now. though.
its nice every day i take time to sit and relax. drink my tea. and really calm down and be still. its wonderful therapy. i also ligt aromatrherapy candles alot. the smells are so relaxing and calming. long showers.
good luck to you. i hope this helps. let me know if theres anythning else

Hi, I'm 56 and pretty much through the change (menopause), but I still get hot flashes when the weather is hot - or when someone turns the furnace too high. I've been taking Black Cohosh Root capsules for about 3 years now, and either those are enough to help me or mine were/are pretty mild in the first place. I also tried something called Estroven (if I remember correctly) was was somewhat helpful. Some women find supplements based on soy helpful - soy didn't work for me.
I've been taking an Omega 3 supplement for my AD/HD (combined type) for about two years and more than noticing the difference when I do take it is noticing how I feel when I forget to take it. That's how I lived for 54 years before my diagnosis - scary. Some people find that getting their Omega 3 from flax oil works better than getting it from fish oil - I'm sticking with fish oil capsules. Someone shared a link to a study that was done in Australia where children were given Omega 3 (fish oil) and Evening Primrose Oil together and the results were very good. Evening Primrose is also good for hormonal changes (PMS or menopause).
I'm also taking Co-Q-10 and a combination Calcium-Magnesium-Zinc every day.
