I am on 10mg twice a day at the moment.
A few months back, I use to feel it "come on", and it put me in a kind of "fog" - felt like I was someone else, but I got heaps done.
I don't feel that at all now, and the side effects have subsided.
Should I up the dose to 15mg twice a day? I don't seem to be able to concentrate as well as I could a couple of months ago.
I feel that you should talk to your doctor about this, before taking our advice. No offence to anyone here at this forum, but I'm thinking it might be a rule around here, I think. Hopefully you doctor (he/she) will likely know what's the best dosage for you.
Good luck.

Danf do you excercise at all? I've taken 10mg x2 daily for years, the first few months were so so but when I added weight training you can't quite imagine the difference unless you try for yourself (or maybe you can already I dunno?)
Oh also if you haven't yet tried OMEGA-3, the fish oil which repairs brain damage/heals schizophrenia as the human brain is 9% made of the stuff, it also has noticeable benefits for some ADDers such as myself, I really find it enhances the off-med half of the day.
Alternately I've found drinking coffee during the day really enahnces things tremendously, but don't carried away if you give breaking that particular rule a try, more than one or two a day and you start to go crazy.

As for your idea of bumping up to 15 mg doses I've personally given that a shot and found it was too much drugs...

Someone call the irony police! :faint:

Oh also if you haven't yet tried OMEGA-3, I do weight training, and I take high DHA OMEGA-3 :)
I think I will just stick with the 20mg a day. It felt like too much yesterday, and not enough the day before. odd.

Yeah. In my recent opinion there's also the distinct possibility that caffeine, excercise and Omega-3 do lots and the drugs do nothing much more interesting..I spent this one day without dexedrine part recently and even through the drug withdrawal I had this newfound mental clarity and also this conversational and social aptitude I'd NEVER had before, it was strange. I'm glad I remembered, with this Omega-3 sh*t (it DOES make a difference does it not??) I've still got a short attention span but seemingly with that "autistic" part of ADD that doesn't know how to relate to people removed...if it works out this way I might just f*ck off and get a band and not a degree.

Oh and PROPER NUTRITION not to sound like everybody's grandmother, might well explain your fluctuating days and at least in my case probably my diagnosis in the first place. All I know is, when you take drugs that make you feel like Superman, its easy to forget regular people rely on FOOD for energy. Those rules like 3 fruits per day, X grains etc just follow that guidline! Damn good for the AIDS. I mean ADD : P

In my experience the proper dose is when the side effects subside and the benefits do not. I don't think 15 mg twice per day is much at all
