This is my first post and I'm going to jump right in with my main concern right now. I am in my 12th year of my phd program and hoping to finish up this academic year. Of course, I have no sense of exactly how this will get done, I plow ahead intuitively, in fits and starts and fear this will not get me to my goal. I'm looking into dissertation coaching. Has anyone tried this? have recommendations to make for coaches? Any suggestions about what I should keep in mind while searching (I've already interviewed with one peson) or about how to use coaching successfully? I'm so ready to leave school and not eager to keep paying fees.

Are you registered with your University's Special Needs Office? They would be good for addressing this issue.

Also, some Uni's offer Grad School Student support groups...
