Hello there...

I have a question regarding the stimulants.

I was on Strattera for about 6 months, during which it worked a virtual miracle in my life!! However, much to my disappointment, it "pooped out" on me (I developed a tolerance to it) and it doesn't work for me anymore. We've tried raising the dose level, but I am unable to tolerate the stuff at the higher doses.:(

I was wondering if anyone could suggest which stimulant would be best to try following success (and subsequent 'poop out') of Strattera.

Any suggestions would be most helpful!

Most docs these days seem to favor an extended release formula so the favorites are Adderall XR, Concerta, Focalin XR, followed by Ritalin LA, Medadate CD, Ritalin SR, then the short acting ones. However your doc may do the opposite and start with short acting stims.
My suggestion is either Adderall XR or Concerta.
