Just wanted to let the uninsured people know that Costco (at least here) stocks generic barr and it's CHEAP. I picked up my script for 90x10mg for right around $26.00. Thats almost 3 times less than the the cheapest quote from other phams. I'm going to see if they can get any other brands. The barr is OK but it tends to be weeker.... you may need to up your dose slightly.
I love costco.... the membership fees are SOOO worth it even if it was ONLY for my meds.
Not that I would even step foot into a sprawl-mart but has anyone been able to get their meds on that $4.00 promo or do they not do CII drugs?

OK so they can't order any other brands. The price is good but it's barr.... and I think it sucks. Feels much closer to barr dex than I would like but the come down is smooth.... (at least for me!).

Since I've turned 25, I'm now off of my father's insurance. It expired just before I had my last script filled for Adderall XR. The new script was a 90 days supply too!!!:mad:
I had to go to my "reserves" to use for now. :(
Would it be best to change my script to the IR for a while until I can get some new insurance? This sucks.

I had heard, some time ago, that you didn't have to become a member to be able to fill prescriptions at Costco...something about it being a pharmacy, it has to be accessible to all. Maybe it varies state to state, but I would check into that, Bipolarruledout. Also, no, the Walmart program doesn't do CII's. Would be nice, though, eh?
LittlePrincess, I would recommend switching to IR if you're concerned about the cost. IR is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper if you get the generic versions (as opposed to Shire Adderall IR). Personally, I've always found the IR versions to work better for me. At any rate, I would definitely look into the IR version for yourself. Not having insurance sure sucks! I hope you can get new insurance soon!

Yes, get the IR generic.... around here everyone seems to stock only the barr.... eon labs and mallindrokt both come highly recomended.... you might also see if they have that free XR script coupon on Shire's web site.... but it's only good once per dosage strenth so I hear.

The Costco pharmacy that I go to allows non-members to get prescriptions there. Also, the original poster is right, Costco has great prices on generic IR adderall

I know, but you do not have to be a member to use the pharmacy. I was paying like $138 a month at Walgreens, at Costco I pay $40.00! I boycot Walgreens and CVS because they are literally robbing people. I actually called Walgreens Minneapolis corp. office and inquired about the HUGE price difference. I was told someone would call me back, and well, they never did.
