I'm in AL, but I don't really have time to say anything else right now.

I'm mother rabies. I'm scattered and can't remember anything of importance. I was diagnosed at age 11 and was told I would grow out of this but I think someone lied or just did'nt know any better. I'm 34 and still screwey.

I'm in Birmingham too.

2ndtimearound here in Athens Al. Just looking for info to help my eight and ten year olds.

I'm in Talladega Al. have 11 yr old son with adhd. I am 30 yrs old have depression, anxity/panic attacks and have been doing reserch on bipolar.

Hi all, I am the mother of a daughter with ADD, it is affecting not only her school performance but also my marriage of the last 3 1/2 years. My husband believes there is no such thing as ADD, wish someone could convince him other wise!

i live in Tuscaloosa, i'm 22, and I just now getting things together with my ADHD. i moved here from tx at 17.

Millbrook Alabama here. I am inattentive ADD, 15 yo son is also, 11 yo daughter and 8 yo son are both ADHD combined type. I was diagnosed at 36. Hubby doesn't really believe in ADD/ADHD and it's causing problems here too. If he believes in it, which he says he does, he sure doesn't show it.

I just found this thread, too. 31 year old recently diagnosed with ADHD by a psychologist. Have 3 kids, pretty sure my 6 yr old is also ADHD, but no significant problems with him yet. Looking for a psychiatrist or doc with ADHD experience in the Montgomery/Prattville area if anyone knows of a good one.

I was just diagnosed and am looking for people in the Dothan area. I came to it from thinking ADHD was a myth to being a textbook case - go figure.

Just to add my two cents..... I'm in west central AL, close to Tuscaloosa. Hope to have a dx tomorrow!

I don't have a whole lot of experience with it as this is the first time I have ever seen anyone. I like the person that I am seeing right now. She was referred to me by a friend of my mother's otherwise I wouldn't have known anywhere to go!

I'm in Harvest, AL and my 6 year old son was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with ADHD.

Probably a little late to join this thread, but in the ham myself...and just diagnosed today with ADHD-NOS. My PCP was ignorant, but my Psychologist was very understanding.
