What are your plans for New Year's Eve? Anything fun?

Anything planned for New Year's Day, or just resigned to nursing a hangover? Sleeping in?

Any New Year Resolutions? The usual? Something different? (and I put a poll, because polls are fun :) )

My new years resolution is to try to stick to my new years resolution longer next time around. :-)

I want to be more outgoing and less afraid of dealing with people I don't know to well. I think I miss out on a lot of rich expieriences because I don't talk more to different people.

I also would like to loose weight, per order of my doctor

New Year's Eve: just us. I thought I'd make some fun finger foods with the kids and play lots of board games.

New Year's Day: visiting a friend, hope I don't forget a side dish I'm supposed to bring.

Resolutions: Actually to get a little busier. With school projects and hobbies and things around the house (like painting the bedrooms).

Several friends of mine (the same fun bunch) are getting together on New Year's Eve.
We're having a potluck dinner.
Each of us is to cook (not buy) one dish, and bring it over, to share.
The girl who's hosting it is providing the desserts - so we don't have to worry about that.

The only resolution I've made, is that I'm going to continue to not personally 'hang out' with anyone, who insists on 'labeling' everyone else.

The only good labels are the ones on soup cans.

I want to get my finances in order. I think I spend far to much money on food! I need to start cooking at home and not eating out!
I want to buy a new car this year.
I want to find a guy who is all about me and knows how to have fun.
I want to move up in my job
I NEED to get my *** back in shape!!

I don't make New Years resolutions, I never follow through on them.:o

New Years Eve I will be working, then home, toast the New Year with hubby then go to bed.

New Years day we always go to my mothers house and eat chinese food, the whole family, my parents, my siblings, myself and our families. It's usually fun and loud and I love chinese food, so what's not to like!:D

I also want to visit a new country. I some how have managed to do this the last 4 or 5 years on my own. But I need to make a point of it happening this year as well.
Any suggestions?

I'm keeping it really simple this year:
- keep a mini notebook and golf pencil in my pocket to take quick notes of spur of the moment things.
- stop starting things I won't finish (like that's gonna happen)

Hmmmmm....wondering if the fact that no one is quitting smoking or drinking is a good thing or a bad thing! LOL
