I've been taking it for a year. I'm sick of feeling super-tired in the evenings and other times. I know it's from the adderall. my appetite is raging too. but it's strange , I feel "myself" more in a low-level way too. I am so tired, yesterday I went to bed at 5pm and got up at 10am. right now I can barely move. I got to the computer here, but i'm going back to lay on the couch for the rest of the evening. It's all because adderall is a stimulant, and allows you to engage in more activity than you normally can do, so wehn you get off of it, I guess you feel the tiredness from all that extra activity yuo did that you couldnt normally do?? maybe something like that. so i figure if i rest a lot, the tiredness will pass hopefully. I have always had ADD pretty bad. therapist and psychiatrist say so, but I can't take the feeling horrible tiredness every evening.
any suggestions of other stuff i could try?

Well I have the same problem and I am very depressed because of the depletion of many neurotransmitters that are tired from doing it everyday. I don't want to take breaks even though they are good for you. I am going to try Tyrosine for a bit in conjunction with the adderall to see if it will bring back the thereputic effect the drug once had. I will keep you posted...

Try other drugs AND generic brands. Methlyphenidate can be more stimulating... maybe you just need a cup of coffee?

The thing I hate most about ADD is I feel like I am ALWAYS tired no mater what. I have never found anything that makes me feel really awake. Most every stimulant brings me down. It sucks. I don't have a real good answer for you. Most doctors don't like the idea of you only taking meds during certain times of day. It's like it has to be all or nothing for some reason.

feeling tired is a symptom of ADD or is it teh meds?
it's 2 weeks now with no adderall. as I'm sitting here I feel super-fatique, i will get the energy up to get off the computer and go over to the couch. my kid is running around and i just pray my wife gets home soon because i don't ahve the enrgy to change his pamper. but, the tiredness HAS been going less and less the last few days.. maybe i seriously am jsut tired from going to bed late.
