hi im new here and had just a few questions ... i was diagnosed with add as a kid and i took dexedrine for a few years and quit when i was around 17 im 30 now so they put me on adderal 10mg a day twice a day the first week now its 15 mg twice a day and i also take clonodine before bed .01mg

my question is does this sound like a good combination how long does adderal take to work ..i have alot more patience now then i use to i feel alot better then i did before but it seems to wear off after about 3 of 4 hours and i feel different unitl i take my 2nd dose ..? any help would be appreciated thank you

Hi...I also have the problem with the doses wearing off after a few hours, so I convinced my Dr to add a third, smaller dose in my daily regimen. The Adderall should work quickly,it's not like a antidepressants that can take a few weeks to start working. You might also consider Extended Release Adderall if possible....good luck...:)
